When the driver indicates their intention to change the lane by using the indicator, there is no warning signal.

The BMW 7 Series supports drivers discreetly by generating vibrations on the steering wheel. At the rear, radar sensors monitor traffic conditions, and a triangular symbol on the base of the exterior mirror shows the driver if there is another vehicle moving into a potentially dangerous position. As soon as the driver uses the indicator to change lanes, they are warned in such a situation by a flashing LED signal and vibrations.
