The M5 CS has removed and replaced exterior features to make its driving experience as lightweight as possible. Carbon fiber is displayed in the hood vents and throughout the exterior, while Adaptive LED headlights have a racing-inspired yellow instead of the standard white. BMW kidney grille surround, model badging, and alloy wheels all feature a unique Gold Bronze finish.
